The COVID-19 pandemic has underscored the importance of keeping patients healthy at home, particularly the most vulnerable. But it’s traditionally been challenging to reach many patients who need care the most.  In this Better Medicare Alliance Summit 2020 session, Podimetrics CEO Dr. Jon Bloom and former Humana executive Beth Bierbower discussed how value-based care arrangements unlock new ways to use virtual care to reach vulnerable populations. They also considered how COVID-19 has changed the course of virtual care, highlighting the benefits and challenges of reaching those most at risk for contracting the virus.
