Dr. Jon Bloom is a board-certified physician and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in healthcare. He is the co-founder and CEO of Podimetrics, a tech-enabled services company that uses advanced remote monitoring and human-to-human support to enable early intervention for high-risk individuals living with complex diabetes. The company aims to address the full spectrum of health needs for these individuals, starting with their foot health. Since its founding in 2011, Podimetrics has become a market leader and has earned multiple accolades, including being named one mof Fast Company’s World’s Most Innovative Companies for 2024. Podimetrics has also been recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in the U.S. by both the Inc. 5000 and the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™.
Dr. Bloom serves on the board of directors for MIT Hacking Medicine and the Massachusetts Medical Device Industry Council (MassMEDIC). He is frequently invited to speak at industry conferences and has been featured in prominent media outlets such as Becker’s Healthcare, Nasdaq, WCVB TV, and Fierce Healthcare. Dr. Bloom earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed his residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. He previously served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Director of Global Medical Affairs at Covidien.
